A Woman In A Man’s World
Dear Diary,
It’s hard being treated with such inequality compared to other people. Being a woman should not make a difference to whether or not your stronger, or more determined than men. It is now 11.55am I just got home from the supposedly equal opportunity job interview – SO MUCH FOR THAT! Honestly I don’t even know why I bother sometimes. It’s just for the first time I actually thought I had a chance at something real. Real, I guess I better face the fact that is real. And reality is that I had a chance, a chance to prove myself to the world all until ‘Sir’ Henry Parkinson rocked up. BOLUCKS!! HOW DARE HE TURN UP AND NOT EVEN TRY AND PRACTICALLY GETS GIVEN THE JOB AFTER PEOPLE TRY NOT TO KISS THE VERY GROUND ON WHICH HE STANDS. Without even trying, all he did was be born a man. Such the woes of the daily life of a woman. But I am proud of who I am and what I have made myself. I am Elloise Jane Smith, a proud woman just trying to find equality for a woman in a man’s world…
